Introduction
A Lutheran Mission on to the Thais in Singapore was started by the Lutheran Mission in Thailand (LMT) with the Lutheran Church in Malaysia and Singapore (LCMS) as a partner-church in 1989.
Thai Good News Center was officially opened in August 1989 with the objective of bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ through proclamation and service to the Thai community of about 50,000 strong working and living in Singapore. In August 1996, Thai Good News Center was officially recognized as an organized congregation of LCMS, and later with the Lutheran Church in Singapore (LCS) in March 1998. Today, Thai Good News Center had baptized more than 300 members and produced more than 15 for full - time Christian Ministry in Thailand.
